The Universal Communications Platform (UCP) integrates any radio communications systems using existing communications infrastructure to form a dedicated network for complete communications including voice, video, and data.

INTRODUCING LOCKHEED MARTIN'S UNIVERSAL COMMUNICATIONS PLATFORM.

WAV4M is the exclusive domestic reseller for Lockheed Martin's Universal Communications Platform hardware and software

UNIVERSAL COMMUNICATIONS PLATFORM(UCP) APPLICATIONS

WHAT MAKES UCP UNIQUE

CONNECTIONS

The UCP can connect to existing systems, or connect in donor radios quickly.

In some instances, such as Motorola v.24 or Harris VIDA, the UCP can connect directly to the network.

UCP STRATEGIC ADVANTAGES

The UCP is:

  • The only MCPTT solution that is true end to end P25 encryption.

  • Fully patented software solution on both the system side and the application.

  • Replaces the need for an expensive ISSI gateway.

  • Battlefield tested and proven.

DEPLOYABLES

To add in addional capabilities into the UCP solutions Lockheed Martin has developed a full range of deployable devices to aid in quick deployments including:

  • Tactical Deployment Units

  • Private Cell Network

  • Software Defined Radio

UCP HARDWARE AND SOFTWARE

PRIVATE CELL NETWORK

PRIVATE CELL NETWORK

The Private Cell Network device is a true Software Defined Radio capable of operating  from 1MHz - 6GHz

Key Features:

White Listing | ENode B

Meshing | Local QoS

Local EPC

TACTICAL DEPLOYMENT UNIT

TACTICAL DEPLOYMENT UNIT

The Tactical Deployment Unit (TDU) is a self-contained, portable system that enables first responders to set up for operation at any place and at any time in under 15 minutes.

The TDU includes fully capable communications for operation centers, mobile units, Incident Command, and Department of Homeland Security applications.

UCP HARDWARE

The UCP  is primarily a software solution.  There are three fixed pieces of Hardware in addition to a server.

  • MRU - Multi radio unit is used to connect donor radios to the UCP or SDR's.

  • NIU - Network Interface Unit connects analog devices to the network and supports 2/4 wire interfaces.

  • RCU - Radio Control Unit. Allows remote control  of radios connected to the UCP.

RADIO OVER CELLULAR (MCPTT)

Lockheed Martin's P25 over Cellular application is the only MCPTT app that:

  • Only application that meets Information Assurance (IA) requirements.

  • Only application that is based exclusively on the APCO P25 protocol.

  • P25 CAP compliant and eligible for Grant funding.

  • Only application with true end to end encryption.  All other apps decrypt to SIP and re-encrypt.

UNIVERSAL COMMUNICATIONS PLATFORM USE CASES

REMOTE LOCATIONS

Utility crews are often faced with the challenge of quickly restoring power and communications after natural diasters.  Often times, these operation occur in remote areas.

Using the UCP communicator app and a Private Cell Network device, comms can be re-established  in minutes to get crews connected and back to work

MILITARY

INTEROP

Military and civilian aid agencies are often deployed into areas of the world with little or no communications infrastructure.  Often times frequencies or equipment sets are different.

Using the Tactical Deployment Unit, personnel can quickly arrive in theater and establish universal communications by connecting our allies radios into the UCP environment.

PUBLIC SAFETY DISASTER RELIEF

Public Safety entities can benefit from day to day operation using the fixed station UCP hardware.  This allows communications for mutual aid, or other radio systems in the operating area.

During natural disasters, first responders can quickly restore communications and command center operations. The UCP is the most effective system to leverage the existing infrastructure even when it is damaged.
